Owner, Award Winning, Nationally Certified Master Groomer, AKC Certified Groomer-Curly & Drop Coat
Leslie began her grooming career in 2005 as a college job, never expecting it to become her lifelong passion. Throughout her college years, she managed both private and corporate salons, gaining hands-on experience in every corner of the grooming world. Then graduating from the University of South Florida in with a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications–Public Relations. In 2016 she left the corporate world behind and opened Two Mutts and a Poodle Pet Salon.
Since then, Leslie has earned more than 50 awards in grooming competitions across various categories and continues to compete at the national level. She is a National Certified Master Groomer with the National Dog Groomers Association of America and remains committed to ongoing education, always staying ahead of trends in modern salon style grooming.
Leslie is currently pursuing a double Master Groomer certification through the new AKC Groomer Credentialing Program and already holds an AKC Certificate of Knowledge in Curly and Drop Coat Breeds. She is highly skilled in hand scissoring and has spent years studying the art of Asian Fusion Styling.
She and her Standard Poodle, Skittles, are proudly featured in the international grooming book Creative Asian Freestyle Grooming, where an entire chapter—Skittles Trim—offers step-by-step instruction from Leslie herself.
